Impact+ doctoral scholarship

We are looking to support one application for the Impact+ doctoral scholarship (3 years of funding at 40 000$ yearly for a total of 120 000$). This opportunity is limited to non-Canadian citizens, or Canadian citizens currently living abroad.

• A letter of presentation including:
  • a description of your research interests and how they align with our ongoing research – this should ideally be about half a page long
  • a statement about your career goals post-Ph.D.
  • a brief overview of your academic experience so far
  • a statement about whether you are not a Canadien citizen, or a Canadian citizen currently living abroad
• A curriculum vitae
• A writing sample (preferably a draft or preprint of an article)

These documents must be in a single PDF, and the email must have the subject “Impact+ First name Last name”. Application packages can be submitted in French or English.

Due to the guidelines of this program, research topics must fall within one of the following categories, one or more of which must be identified in your letter of presentation.

• AI and related technologies
• health
• environnement and climate resilience
• food safety

Due to the nature of the call, the application process is extremely streamline, and Timothée will present your application for approval. The scholarship is expected to start in the fall of 2026.
